A montage of images shows Hendren's Slope: Intercept project with its original set of five modular single-step ramps, made of wood, metal casters, leveling feet, and a piano hinge on each. The ramps stack and nest and combine in multiple ways; in these images they're in use by both skateboarders and wheelchair users.

Slope : Intercept, begun in 2013 with a set of five modular ramps for use by skateboarders and wheelchair users, is an extended art and design research project organized around the inclined plane. Read more about the project here and its growth as a provocation for events in Toronto, Seoul, and with dancer and choreographer Alice Sheppard.
